Draghi – Europe ready to act

European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said policy makers were ‘ready to act’ after leaving their benchmark rate at a record low at the ECB meeting last week as the shared currency gain 0.7% vs. the USD. It will come as welcome news to the markets as the region has proved to be extremely slow to act on the debt crisis.
