Aussie rises after rate cut

The Australian dollar moved higher yesterday even though the Reserve Bank of Australia cut its cash rate by another .25% to move it down to 3.5%. The reason for the increase was that the markets had actually factored in a 0.5% cut, so investors moved back into the currency after the leads than expected cut.
